AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF COAHOMA COUNTY TO ACQUIRE, OBTAIN, CONSTRUCT, REPLACE, OPERATE AND MAINTAIN A RAILROAD TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM FOR FREIGHT, OR PASSENGERS, OR BOTH, WITHIN THIRTY MILES OF THE CITY OF CLARKSDALE; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1. The Board of Supervisors of Coahoma County, in its discretion, by resolution duly adopted and entered upon its minutes, may acquire, obtain, construct, replace, operate and maintain a railroad transportation system for freight, or passengers, or both, within thirty (30) miles of the City of Clarksdale, Mississippi.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
